PHOENIX — Lori Vallow Daybell, the woman convicted of murdering her children and is awaiting trial on more charges in Arizona, recently sat down with Dateline’s Keith Morrison for a rare, one-on-one interview.
Vallow and her husband Chad Daybell were previously found guilty of being involved in the deaths of Vallow’s two children, Tylee and JJ. Authorities recovered the children’s remains from a property in Idaho.
“We will both be exonerated in the future,” Vallow told Morrison during the interview.
Morrison came to Maricopa County to interview Vallow as she awaits trial for a separate criminal case involving the 2019 death of her former husband, Charles Vallow, in Chandler.
Morrison recently told 12News the interview with Vallow felt “extremely contentious,” describing the defendant as being “sarcastic” and “aggressive.”
“She had her own agenda,” Morrison told 12News.
The Dateline episode is scheduled to air Friday, March 7.
