Bill Belichick, former GM of the New England Patriots, is promoting his new book The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football with his girlfriend Jordon Hudson by his side, but things are getting a bit awkward. Hudson apparently doesn’t want him talking about their relationship—even how they met—or, apparently, their 50-year age gap.

These two are not exactly keeping their relationship private, attending plenty of events together and appearing as a couple all over social media. But this weekend, the real “hmm” moment that has the internet talking is the fact that it wasn’t 73-year-old Belichick who shut down the question, but 24-year-old Hudson, who was by his side throughout his interview on CBS’s Sunday Morning.

“We’re not talking about this,” she said when the interviewer asked how they met. (FWIW, TMZ says they met on a flight in February 2021.)

In the interview, Bill Belichick says he doesn’t care what the public’s reaction to his personal life is, so we are guessing he won’t care about this latest fracas either.

“[I just] try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right,” he told CBS Sunday Morning’s Tony Dokoupil.

The pageant queen and former cheerleader didn’t respond to the now-viral moment, but has posted on Instagram since, a few pictures of herself and a friend enjoying spring on Nantucket, which she captioned, “Lots o’ daffs & laffs 🌼💛☀️.”

The comments on her post range from praise for her style to raised eyebrows. Some commenters wrote that given the unconventional couple is so public in so many ways, to awkwardly skirt around a basic question strikes them as odd.

And of course, they still want to know the answer to the question.
