Born and raised in Australia, Tanveer Sangha comes from a family that migrated from Jalandhar, Punjab, in the 1990s.

His father, who originally came to Australia for education, now works as a truck driver, while his mother works as an accountant. Sangha’s family supported his cricket journey!

Sangha caught the eye of selectors with a stellar first-class debut for Sydney Thunder in 2020. His performances were exceptional. At just 19, this was a major milestone!
