The 78-year-old president could be seen sporting a blue suit to the event, while standing in a sea of other attendees predominantly dressed in black, the customary color for such an event.

Even Melania was dressed in a somber all-black outfit, making her husband’s blue suit and tie stick out like a sore thumb.

According to the Independent, the dress code for the funeral required that men wear a “dark suit” with a black tie, while Trump’s suit, appeared to be a medium shade of blue, paired with a blue tie.

Users online felt his outfit choice was not only “disrespectful,” but some even called it an “embarrassment.”

“What is it with Trump that he did not even have the decency to wear a black tie, never mind he wore a blue suit,” someone else lamented.

“I see Trump’s doing his usual ‘look at me’ by choosing not to wear a traditional black suit. He’s such a cretinous human, I bet he was raging when zelensky got a round of applause,” another user wrote.

Internet users also called out Trump for having “zero decorum” throughout the ceremony, with some people claiming he looked like he was going to fall asleep during the ceremony.

“A true embarrassment on a global stage,” another user wrote.
