Memphis football cornerback Kobee Minor is officially an NFL rookie after being picked by the New England Patriots in the 2025 NFL draft. Minor was the final pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, earning him the title of Mr. Irrelevant.

What Kobee Minor brings to Patriots in 2025 NFL Draft
Minor played one season for the Tigers after starting his career at Texas Tech and then playing for Indiana. He was a starter for Memphis for most of the season but missed a couple of games because of injury.
Minor was All-Big Ten honorable mention at Indiana and helped fill a major need for the Tigers.

Kobee Minor highlights, strengths, weaknesses at Memphis
Minor was a highly touted recruit out of Lake Dallas High School. He’s a physical player and was consistently in the other team’s backfield during his season with the Tigers.
The 5-foot-11, 182-pound Minor will still have to work on his coverage skills, but he’ll have a good shot to make the Patriots’ roster because of his ball skills and tackling ability.
Kobee Minor stats with Memphis
Minor made 37 tackles for the Tigers in 2024 and also had two sacks and two forced fumbles. He had a highlight-reel sack-fumble against Middle Tennessee in September that helped start a Memphis run.
He made 29 tackles during his season with Indiana in 2023.
