CHARLOTTE — The Panthers added some more speed and return ability with their final pick.
With the 208th overall pick, the Panthers selected Colorado wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr.
The 5-foot-8, 174-pound Horn ran a 4.46-second 40 at the combine, along with a 38-inch vertical and a 10-foot-8 broad jump.
He averaged 10.3 yards per punt return last year for the Buffaloes and caught 37 passes for 441 yards and a touchdown. In 2023, he caught 58 passes for 567 yards and six touchdowns. He played his first two seasons at South Florida.
The Panthers have a deep receivers group, particularly after drafting Tetairoa McMillan in the first round. They also used a fourth-round pick on running back and kick returner Trevor Etienne.
