Isaiah Bond, a wide receiver for the Texas Longhorns, declared for the 2025 NFL Draft in January. A standout at Buford High School in Georgia, Bond combined elite track speed with football success. From 2019 to 2021, he won three consecutive Georgia High School Association 5A and 6A state championships. He also caught 42 passes for 909 yards and seven touchdowns, along with five kickoff returns for 107 yards as a senior.

Bond committed to the University of Alabama, where he recorded 17 receptions for 220 yards and one touchdown as a freshman. After a standout 2023 season with 48 receptions for 668 yards and 4 touchdowns, he transferred to the University of Texas at Austin. Over his college career, Bond finished with 99 receptions, 1,428 receiving yards, and 10 touchdowns across 41 games.

Isaiah Bond is known for his elite speed and athleticism but has struggled with contested catches. Although he possesses good hands, his 5’10”, 180-pound size limits his ability to win at the catch point against tight coverage, further hindered by a limited catch radius. As a result, he has achieved a lower success rate on contested targets.

However, Bond’s skill set could flourish in schemes like the spread offense and air raid offense, where his 4.39-second 40-yard dash speed, agility, efficient route running, and nuanced separation skills can be fully utilized to stretch defenses and create mismatches.
