Ohio native, actress from ‘The Walking Dead’ dies at 33

(WKBN) – An actress who starred in television series that include “The Walking Dead,” “9-1-1,” and “Chicago Med” has died, according to multiple reports.

The social media account of Kelley Mack announced that she passed away on Saturday at 33 years old.

According to Variety and multiple reports, Mack had suffered from glioma, a tumor that affected her central nervous system.

Mack was known for her role as Addy in “The Walking Dead.” She also played Penelope Jacobs on “Chicago Med.”

Multiple reports say that Mack died in her hometown of Cincinnati. Her family announced that a celebration of life will be held on August 16.

The family released a statement:

“Kelley passed peacefully on Saturday evening with her loving mother Kristen and steadfast aunt Karen present. Kelley has already come to many of her loved ones in the form of various butterflies 🦋 ❤️. She will be missed by so many to depths that words cannot express.”
