Will Resident Alien be at Comic-Con this year?

Yes! If you’re going to Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend, head over to Ballroom 20 on Friday, July 25 at 10am where there will be a Resident Alien panel with showrunner/executive producer Chris Sheridan, and actors Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, and Alice Wetterlund!

What happened in last week’s episode of Resident Alien?

In “Daddy Issues,” Harry faced his father (Stephen Root), who was now the executor of his alien essence. His father, Ed, was disappointed in Harry and wanted him to kill just one person to prove his worth to him. When Harry tried to prove how tough he was, Ed wasn’t having it and decided he wanted him to kill one specific person – Max (Judah Prehn). For a second you think Harry was going to go through with it, but instead Harry killed his dad! I’m guessing Stephen Root won’t be returning as a guest star any time soon. Relieved to still be alive, Max was happy that Harry chose him over his father and gave him a big hug just as his parents walked in, and much like that couple at the Coldplay concert, the two were caught in an awkward embrace.

Sheriff Mike (Reynolds) and Deputy Liv (Elizabeth Bowen) speculated on who the Mantid could be. They honed in on FBI Agent Jules Gardner (Jewel Staite), but after some investigating they decided it probably wasn’t her and they decided to hone in on the Sheriff’s main squeeze, Detective Lena (Nicola Correia-Damude). When Mike started to question Jules about Lena, he quickly learned that Jules was the Mantid, but how can he kill the Mantid who is posing as an FBI agent without getting arrested or worse?
