Today’s Pokémon Presents livestream was short but definitely not light on announcements. There’s a new Pokémon puzzle game out right now. Pokémon Concierge season 2 has a release date. And on top of a new trailer for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, there’s a new Switch 2 bundle featuring the game, too.
The — and you’re going to want to sit down for this, since the name is apocalyptically long — Nintendo Switch 2 + Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition bundle will be available on October 16th for $499. You’ll be able to preorder it from participating retailers soon, and hopefully there will be enough stock (unlike at launch).
If you’ve been waiting for more information on Pokémon Legends: Z-A before committing to the new console, then you’re in luck. We got a new trailer that reveals some of the details of the game’s story and events. In Lumiose City, you’ll unravel the mystery of rogue Mega Evolved Pokémon that are wreaking havoc. To do that, you’ll need your own Mega Pokémon, including the new Mega Dragonite that looks like a goober with wings coming out of its head. You’ll be able to discover more Mega Evolutions when the game launches on both Nintendo Switch systems on October 16th.
