Lar Park Lincoln, who appeared in a film from the “Friday the 13th” series but was best known for her role on the nighttime soap opera “Knots Landing,” has died at the age of 63.
Lincoln’s death was confirmed by a post on social media from her company Actors Audition Studios.
“Over her 45-year career, Lar left an unforgettable mark on Hollywood through her dynamic performances and dedication to mentoring aspiring actors,” the post says.
The post did not list a cause of death, but the Hollywood Reporter says Lincoln had breast cancer.
Born on May 12, 1961, in Dallas, Texas, her current company was based in Dallas. According to IMDB.com, her first role was in 1985 in the TV movie “Children of the Night.”
She appeared in several TV shows, including the hit “Highway to Heaven,” then landed a role in “Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood” in 1988. She also appeared in “Murder, She Wrote” and “Beverly Hills, 90210.”
From 1987 to 1991 she portrayed Linda Fairgate in “Knots Landing.” Her final credited acting role was in 2022 in “Ghost Party.”
