The majority of federal, state, county, and city offices will be closed on July 4. That includes courts.

Emergency services will continue to be available.

The U.S. Postal Service is closed for the holiday. UPS says it will be largely closed. FedEx offers select services, but most of its services are shuttered.

Parking

Meters in Minneapolis and St. Paul will not be enforced. Similarly, the University of Minnesota does not enforce meters on the holiday.
