President Donald Trump expressed openness Tuesday to deporting Elon Musk after his feud with the Tesla CEO was reignited.
“I don’t know. I mean, we’ll have to take a look,” Trump told reporters as he departed the White House to travel to Florida.
Musk, a naturalized U.S. citizen who was born in South Africa, resumed attacks on Trump’s priority legislative package Monday. That prompted Trump to suggest that the U.S. DOGE Service, which Musk previously led, scrutinize the government subsidies that Musk’s businesses receive.
Trump reiterated that threat Tuesday, saying DOGE “is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon.”
