7-Eleven’s Free Slurpee Day: Here’s how to get a free Slurpee, find an NC location, more

With temperatures in the 80s and 90s across North Carolina, 7-Eleven’s free Slurpees are here to save the day.

On 7-Eleven’s 98th birthday, participating 7-ElevenSpeedway or Stripes stores are upholding the yearly tradition of giving out a free small Slurpee. Free Slurpee Day has marked the chain’s birthday every year since the “holiday” was established in 2002.

This year, some 7-Eleven and Speedway locations will also give members of 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards loyalty programs special temporary tongue tattoos. Members of the loyalty programs are also eligible to receive a second free Slurpee in the form of a coupon redeemable through July 31.

When is Free Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven?

Free Slurpee day falls on Friday, July 11. 7-Eleven locations are generally open 24 hours a day.

7-Eleven Free Slurpee Day: How to get a free 7-Eleven Slurpee

Visit a participating 7-Eleven on Friday, July 11, and you can get a small Slurpee (one per customer, no purchase necessary; while supplies last).

There’s also a way to get a second freebie. To secure your second drink, scan your 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards app on July 11, and you will get a coupon for another free small Slurpee redeemable through July 31.
