  • 6 consecutive First Alert Weather Days for dangerous heat starting this weekend.

First Alert Summary:

Good morning! Thanks to yesterday’s weak front dropping through, we’re a tad cooler today. High pressure slides in from our north, giving us some drier air to make us less humid. High temperatures will reach the low-90s. A stray shower or storm is possible this afternoon and evening, mainly along the I-95 corridor.

An area of low pressure trying to develop in the Gulf will help swing moisture our way tomorrow. This will increase humidity once again, as well as our rain chances. A few showers and storms can’t be ruled out throughout tomorrow.

High pressure builds in from our west by Friday and into the weekend, which cranks the heat up. High temperatures will reach the upper-90s, with “feels-like” temperatures around Heat Advisory threshold. Because of this, First Alert Weather Days are in effect Saturday through next Thursday for dangerous heat and humidity.
