A 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck just north of Hasbrouck Heights Saturday night in New Jersey.
Officials with the United States Geological Survey says it was the second tremor to hit the state in the past two weeks. The last took place on July 22.
People in Bergen Passaic, Essex, Hudson and Morris counties felt the earthquake around 10 p.m.
USGS registered it at a depth of 10 km, or about 6.2 miles.
Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco released a statement acknowledging the earthquake around midnight. He said there were no reports of damage.
