COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A 20-year-old bodybuilder died while she was visiting Columbus last week.

According to the Franklin County Coroner’s Office, Jodi Vance died Thursday at 12:51 p.m.

She was taken from the Sonesta Hotel on East Nationwide Boulevard to Grant Medical Center, where she died. No immediate cause of death was released.

Her social media accounts posted news of her death, saying her “heart stopped due to complications of severe dehydration.”

“Despite all efforts by the hospital, they were unable to revive her,” her account said. “She was a beautiful person inside and out and she will be missed every single day. This was sudden and unexpected. Please give her family time to process this loss in peace. If anyone takes anything from this, please put your health first.”

She grew up in Tucumcari, New Mexico, and lived in Canyon, Texas, according to her Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn profiles.
